MILESTONES
The following Milestones highlight the thought process, research, feedback, and methods of decisions my group took to come to develop our final design of our device for our client. Each Milestone represents a stage in the design process which helped guide us through this project.
Milestone 0 Team
The following Milestone contains information on administrative responsibilities as well as our initial Gantt Chart which maps what will be completed for the duration of this project.
Milestone 1 Team
The following Milestone contains our groups individual client notes as well as our planning of general objectives and constraints our design would have. We also planned how we want to approach this project: software, physical, or both.
Milestone 1 Individual
This Milestone contains all the notes I took during the meeting with our client.
Milestone 2 Team
In this Milestone our group combined our notes for our second client meeting. It also contains all of our individual research on questions we had regarding painting adaptability, materials, and our client's conditions to understand how to design our device. We also did functional analysis and each of us sketched two potential designs for our device.
Milestone 2 Individual
This Milestone contains my completed research on my question regarding Lymphedema and its causes of flare ups. It also includes two sketches of possible designs.
Milestone 3 Team
In this Milestone, we each made one preliminary model of our design using CAD software. Using a decision matrix containing several objectives and constraints, our group decided on the most optimal design. This document also contains feedback on a few of our designs from science students.
Milestone 3 Individual
This Milestone contains my preliminary CAD model of my design and an explanation of my thought process.
Milestone 4 Team
This Milestone contains our groups finalized design including our current and future testing plans for our device. We also got final feedback on our design from the science students.
